The Friday Mashup 131

Well, once again its been quite a while since my last blog entry. This time I have a good excuse. My husband and I just purchased our first home! I've been crazy busy with packing, moving, cleaning, unpacking and finding the right spot for all our things. Although its super exciting, its very stressful all at the same time. I'm even posting this blog entry today at a local wifi hot spot as we haven't even gotten our internet hooked up yet lol. Last night was the first time I've been in my craft room since our move. I seen this weeks Friday Mashup challenge last night while I was browsing on my phone lol. I just had to get in my craft room and make something for it.

So this weeks challenge was to use this sketch:

And to mash it up by making it a "spooky" project. With Halloween right around the corner I figured why not make a card for a friend who loves Halloween as much as I do.

So, here's my entry:

I took a second close up picture as they are hard to see in the first but I felt like the black background of the card just needed a little something so I used Versa Mark to stamp some spiders on.

  1. Those pumpkin vines are kinda spooky, which pairs well with the spider! Love the designs on the paper and washi strips. Thanks for joining the Friday Mashup this week.

  2. Great details on this spooky card- the background spiders, the web border, washi skull tape, and the pumpkins are so Tim Burton-like! Thanks for sharing at the Friday Mashup!
