Thanksgiving Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stamp It Group Thanksgiving Blog Hop. You are likely coming here from Karen Page's Blog. If you happened to just stumble across my blog, why not take a minute and visit all the blog participants by using the previous and next buttons at the end of this post to see all the great ideas and projects. When I think of Thanksgiving I think of fall and when I think of fall I think of the changing colors and the falling leaves. So I chose to use the Sheltering Tree paired with the Vintage Leaves set for my card:

I stamped the leaves first then used the framelits to cut them out. I used some gold embossing powder to give a little pop to the smallest leaf then I layered them on top of each other and tied the stems together with some linen thread.

I've been playing with deminsion on my cards a lot lately and just felt this needed a little something. A few months back I had found the Flower Soft products. I used some of the Autumn colored Flower Soft on the tree. I love how it turned out! Have you ever used Flower Soft? If so, I'd love to see what you created. :)

I hope you enjoyed my project and continue on in our blog hop with Tami White at Stamp with Tami and enjoy all the wonderful projects in our Thanksgiving blog hop!
