I decided to join in this week at Always Playing with Paper's
Merry Monday Challenge because it was to design a project using the Chalkboard Technique. I have only used this technique a few times so I decided to play along.
Once I finished my project I realized it could be entered in the
Try Stampin' On Tuesday challenge as well. Their challenge was to create a holiday tag.
When I first stamped the greeting I thought it said "Warm Winter Wishes". It wasn't until I took the picture of the card that I realized it actually said "Warm Wishes". Oh well. Lol :) I got the idea to outline the snowman from a card I seen on Pintrest. I also originally stamped the scarf directly onto the snowman but unfortunately the ink was too light and it just didn't look right with the black ink outlining the snowman so I had to stamp it on a scrap of whisper white and cut it out. The end result is SO much better.
Although my card only uses the chalkboard technique in the background and the tag is on the card, I think it still qualifies for both challenges... What do you think?
